What cookies are
Cookies are small values a website or third-party service can store in your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, pixels, and device identifiers, can remember preferences or measure activity.
Local browser storage
Stream stores your consent choice in local storage under stream_cookie_consent. This is necessary to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics and advertising. Stream may also use local storage to remember interface preferences, such as custom subtitle font size, color, position, and drawer states. These values do not contain your name, email address, or Telegram identity.
Google Analytics
If you accept, Google Analytics may set or read cookies and collect usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device characteristics, referral source, interactions, and session duration. We use this to understand behavior and improve Stream.
Advertising technologies
If you accept, third-party advertising services may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure advertising. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.
Your controls
Optional scripts do not load before consent. Rejecting keeps them disabled. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although clearing local storage means Stream will ask for your preference again and reset local subtitle styling preferences.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services or vendors change. Questions can be sent through the Contact page.
